I grew up in a time where only long, pin straight hair was considered beautiful fashionable. As a Jewish woman, a hidden minority) And I don’t profess to truly understand AT ALL what it’s like to be a black person. I’m not coming from a place of I want to touch it and feel it and fawn over it like you would with like a pet or at a zoo or something.

I appreciate the talent cuz I’m nowhere near that good at doing my own hair. I just don’t understand how saying I love your hair and seeing the talent as amazing is racist.
